Eric R. Williams is a proud native of Atlanta, Georgia. Exposed to the arts at the ripe age of 6, Eric found himself in complete love with the arts, heavily influenced by the likes of Michael Jackson & Whitney Houston.

 

Eric began formally training in Drama & Musical Theatre in the Visual & Performing Arts Magnet Program at Tri-Cities High School in East Point, Georgia, a critically acclaimed public school, boasting a notable alumni roster inclusive of OutKast's Big Boi & André 3000, Xscape, D. Woods of Danity Kane, SNL's Keenan Thompson, Broadway stars Saycon Sengbloh, Sahr Ngaujah, Jahi Kearse, Joaquina Kalukango & many others. 

 

Eric enrolled into the Musical Theatre program at Howard University in Washington, DC, performing in numerous productions as a student & worked and trained under the likes of legendary Howard Alumnae actors Phylicia Rashad, Debbie Allen & Lynn Whitfield.

Eric graduated Magna Cum Laude with his BFA in Musical Theatre & went on to make his professional theatre debut at DC's Studio Theatre in the regional premiere of Stew's Passing Strange

 

Eric made his New York City debut in the Public Theater's 2012 Shakespeare In the Park production of Into The Woods alongside Academy Award Winner Amy Adams, Tony Award Winner Donna Murphy and Tony Award winner & Emmy-nominated Denis O'Hare. 

Eric is currently based in New York City.
